The VA Will Not Be There for You

Anyone who is still laboring under the illustion that the Veterans Administration will provide significant long-term care benefits should order the new General Accounting Office report cited below. VA pays less than 2% of long-term care now and that will continue to shrink with the Vietnam veterans hitting their long-term care years. If VA offered meaningful coverage for LTC, why would the Federal government be offering long-term care insurance to active and retired military personnel?
