BILL POMAKOY - Vice President

Hello everyone and thanks for taking some time to visit with us. I'm Bill Pomakoy and I joined LTC Consultants in January 1997 as Vice President of Marketing.  My job has been to market the LTC sales, marketing and training services of LTC Consultants to organizations and individual producers all around the country.  Sounds like a great job doesn't it?  Well it has been and for a variety of reasons.   First and foremost, everyone at LTC Consultants believes that long-term care insurance is the private sector’s solution to the real health care crisis in this country. It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Phyllis Shelton and the entire staff at LTC Consultants for the past 13+ years. I came to this wonderful organization after a 19-year career in a totally unrelated industry, but it didn't take me long to realize what a great opportunity there is for anyone entering the long-term care insurance field because you have an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of American families.

You may wonder how a guy from Upstate New York got to Nashville, Tennessee. Well, it's a great story - but one that will have to wait 'til we meet.

I have a daughter, Erika, who has presented me with three incredible grandchildren, Paul (named after his Dad), Drew and Maddie (aka Miss Maddie). My son, Nathan, is single and lives in New York City.  Both of my children are incredibly talented - can you tell how proud I am of them?

My role in the organization has taken a slight turn because I recently purchased a 4-wheel bicycle company called Rhoades Car.  So I am now acting in an advisory role with LTC Consultants - but don't let that stop you from calling us at 888-400-1118 today.  Or you can email me at Bill@LTCConsultants.com.

CLAY EDWARDS - Director of Public Relations

Welcome to the LTCC Organization!  In order to get acquainted, let me introduce myself.  I am Clay Edwards, Director of Public Relations at LTC Consultants.  Originally from a small town in western Kentucky, I knew that "when I grew up" I wanted to work closely with the public.  Besides I have the "gift of gab", "never shuting up", and I have never met a stranger!!

Therefore, I graduated from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky with degrees in Public Relations and Youth/Non-Profit Leadership.  While a college student, I was fortunate to tour with two Drum and Bugle Corps International groups--Madison Scouts and Carolina Crown and work as their PR Director.

In order to live my motto--"Life is a journey, not a destination" I moved to Nashville following college graduation.  I landed a job in the music industry and worked with some of Music City's biggest stars.  Wanting to be more involved with the public and media, I left
the music industry and began work with LTCC in the summer of 2010.

My job here is to keep the public and media informed of the amazing opportunities that Phyllis and our staff utilize regarding the ever-changing world of long-term care insurance. If you have any questions, comments, or need for further information, please feel free to phone or email me and I will gladly reply.  My life is on a great journey; hope yours is too!

RHONDA MCBRIDE - Insurance Coordinator/Special Events Manager

Hello! I am Rhonda McBride. I joined the LTCC team in early 2009 as Insurance Coordinator and Special Events Manager. After several years as a country music vocalist and performer, I had the opportunity to tour the world entertaining our US Troops.  Originally from Rhode Island (yes, it is its own state!) I attended Lyndon State College in Vermont, eventually settling on a major in Business Management.

In 2008, my mother was diagnosed, at the age of 58, with Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Having a Long-Term Care situation hit so close to home has brought forth the importance of LTCi and planning for the future. Since joining LTC Consultants, I have committed myself to helping get the message out to producers and individuals about the importance of this coverage. I am even working towards my own Health & Life Insurance licenses in my spare time!  I now reside in Hendersonville, TN with my wonderful husband Kevin (my former drummer) and beautiful daughter Isabella.

So, watch the stage at one of our special events - most times I can be persuaded to belt out a few tunes!!

JULIE ALEXANDER
- Administrative Assistant/Special Events Manager

Family is generally not the term used to describe a work environment, but at LTC Consultants we embrace one another and function as a family unit.  I’m Julie Alexander and my role with the company is multifaceted: see a need fill a need!  Although my tenure with LTCC has not been long, I passionately believe in our mission to educate patrons and producers about long term care options.

I have a diverse work background.  I spent 10 years in the military as a weather forecaster in the Air National Guard.  As a civilian I worked in an OB/Gyn clinic and hemorrhoid care center for five years.  You may be wondering why I worked where the sun shone and where the “sun don’t shine”, but the jobs were both diagnostic in nature, and I found a symbiotic balance working in both atmospheres.

I have two beautiful, vibrant boys.  Nicolas is four years old, and he embodies boyhood with every waking moment.   Vincent is two years old, and mischievous!  When the two of them play together they fill our home with laughter and fun.
At the end of the day, I look forward to seeing their smiling faces and taking them on the adventures of life.
