I’m establishing a new column this month called “Media Commentary” in which I will give you my commentary on current long-term care stories in the media. We’re getting lots of attention, finally, and your clients and prospects will be reading these articles and meeting you at the door with them or bringing them to your office. I’ll try to help you formulate responses that emphasize the advantages of long-term care insurance to help you be better prepared to discuss these articles with your clients and prospective clients.

I’ll put the website with each one – some you will have to pay for if you access the article and some not. I would highly recommend either taking Wall St. Journal right now or paying for the WSJ online – there are so many articles in this one publication that will help our education efforts and ultimately our sales efforts since – you’ve heard me say it 1,000 times – 80% of the LTCI sale is EDUCATION.

Finally, please feel free to bring articles to my attention, either by emailing them to info@ltcshelton.com, faxing them to 615-361-1845, or simply emailing me a link to retrieve the article.
