On July 14, 2010, she appeared in "The Balancing Act" on the Lifetime Television Network to discuss the devastating impact of caregiving on the lifestyles and careers of women who have not planned ahead with long-term care insurance.

Phyllis recently received the distinguished LIFE Foundation Client Service Award at the 2009 NAIFA convention and her full page client story was featured in the September 14, 2009 edition of Newsweek magazine.
