hand picked and personally trained by Phyllis Shelton, President of LTC
Consultants to conduct long-term care training classes throughout
the country as well as speak at a variety of long-term care forums and
events. They are top producers in the LTC arena and are committed to providing
quality training and services.
Betty Doll, CLTC has a Master of Business
Administration degree
from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational
Therapy from Western Michigan University. Prior to becoming involved in
the insurance industry, Betty worked as Regional Rehabilitation Manager
for a national nursing home corporation and as Director of Business Development
for that same corporation.
Betty became involved in Long Term Care Insurance sales largely as a
result of seeing so many individuals admitted for care who thought that
Medicare would pay for all the care that was needed. Betty’s commitment
is to provide quality education regarding Medicare, Medicaid and Long
Term Care Insurance.
Betty specializes exclusively in Long Term Care Insurance representing
many of the leading carriers. She works closely with individuals, financial
planners, estate attorneys, CPAs, investment firms, and other insurance
agents.
Betty is an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters
(NAHU) serving as Treasurer of the Western North Carolina chapter. She
has made presentations to various NAHU chapters. She has qualified for
the Leading Producers Roundtable since her first year of production.
Betty has participated in the National LTC Forums in Washington DC and
in New Orleans and in the North Carolina Forum in Greensboro. In addition
to numerous education presentations to consumer and professional groups,
she was a presenter at the 1999 Preventative Medicine Conference in Hilton
Head, SC. She is a frequent quest on “Money Matters”, a live, call-in
radio show, and has been featured on television shows as a specialist
in the area of financial options for long term care planning.
Betty has earned the “Certified in Long-Term Care” designation and will
complete the Certified Senior Advisor program in January 2001.
In addition to her professional involvement, Betty is an adjunct faculty
member at Mars Hill College. She is a participant in Leadership Asheville
and an alumnus of Leadership Orlando. She is a member of several local
service organizations and a past participant in Toastmasters.

Catherine Dove
Catherine Dove is an author of several articles for industry publications.
She has appeared on television news programs and is an industry resource
on LTC for Kiplingers and LTC Commentator. She recently appeared at the
National Long-Term Care Forum in Washington, DC as a featured speaker.
Catherine formerly was the Brokerage Director of the Long-Term Care Division
of the Producers Group in Irvine, CA. She was also an LTC Specialist and
national trainer for GE Capital. She has worked in an Adult Day Care Center
as the Program Director for the Alzheimer's Unit and also has experience
in admissions and administration for a skilled nursing & assisted
living facility.
Catherine's LTC Division produced over $3 million in premiums annually.
Her hard work and dynamic efforts helped turn a successful life agency
into one of the largest LTC brokerage agencies in Southern California.
Presently she finds the time and energy to conduct LTC Consultant's
Long-Term Care Agent Training seminars in cities all over the country.

John C. Ferroni,
RHU
Mr. Ferroni graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Business Administration. He has been actively involved in the
insurance field for over sixteen years as a Registered Health Underwriter,
a Registered Employee Benefits Consultant and a member of the National
Association of Health Underwriters. He has qualified for the Million Dollar
Round Table, the National Sales Achievement Award, the National
Quality Award and the Health Insurance Quality Award.
John Ferroni's specialty is Long-Term Care Insurance including Medicare
and Medicaid. He attended Phyllis Shelton's Fundamentals of Long-term
Care Insurance and Advanced Marketing Techniques course in Nashville,
TN. As an alumni of the program he was selected as one of the four national
trainers for her company, LTC Consultants which has trained over
25,000 agents nationwide.
Mr. Ferroni has participated in the NAHU LTC Conferences in Cincinnati,
Ohio, Orlando, Fla., and Chicago. He has also participated in the 12th
Annual Private Long-Term Care Producers Conference in San Diego, CA and
the 2nd annual National Long-Term Care Forum in New Orleans. Locally he
participates in the New York State Long-Term Care Forums in Saratoga Springs
and Mellville. Nationally he has been invited to speak at Forums in Minneapolis,
Minn., and Cleveland, Ohio. He was also an invited speaker at the 1st
annual National Long-Term Care Forum in Washington, D.C. He has spoken
extensively on Long-Term Care before many civic groups, participated in
seminars with Adriane Berg, a nationally known financial expert, and has
been asked to join radio and television panels, as a specialist on Long-Term
Care Financing.

David Miller,
CLTC
David
Miller is a National Trainer and Certified Instructor with Phyllis Shelton's
LTC Consultants, a third party training & consulting firm based in
Nashville, TN. which has trained over 35,000 agents. David is certified
in long-term care and earned his certification through the National Academy
of Elder Law Attorneys. He is co-founder of Ohio Long Term Care Brokers
based in Cleveland and has specialized in long-term care insurance since
1987.
David is a national speaker on the subject of long-term care financing.
He was a featured speaker at the first National Long-Term Care Forum in
Washington, D.C. He is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round
Table based solely on LTC production, and in 2002 he will personally write
over $1 million of LTC premium!
For more than a decade, he has focused on helping people preserve their
independence and freedom of choice as it pertains to long-term care planning.
Prior to entering the insurance industry, David was a professional musician.
He was the mandolin player for "The Young Blades of Bluegrass"
who toured with Barbara Mandrell for several years. David has earned national
recognition for his contribution to the field of entertainment. He is
the writer and performer of the "Medicaid Blues".

Randy Smith
Since 1995, Mr. Smith has been helping Middle Tennessee families plan
for long-term care. He has had a part in conducting seminars and workshops
for community groups, First Tennessee Bank, the State of Tennessee and
various associations across Middle Tennessee and Kentucky for the
past four years. Prior to coming to the Nashville Hancock Agency, he served
as the Business Administrator for Lighthouse Ministries for thirteen years.
The latter two years he served as the high school baseball/football
coach and athletic director at Lighthouse Christian School.
In the fall of 1996, Mr. Smith was honored as the Gold Medalist Award
speaker to first year agents beginning their careers at John Hancock.
That same year he was chosen as the New Agent of the Year for the Nashville
A.G. Moore & Associates General Agency. In 1997, Mr. Smith was the
long-term care sales leader for the Nashville Agency in Tennessee which
encompasses also Knoxville and Chattanooga.
In 1998, Mr. Smith had the opportunity to also work with LTC
Consultants, a company that trains agents to sell long-term care insurance.
As a result, Mr. Smith travels nationally conducting seminar meetings
helping other agents understand the value of serving their clients by
introducing long-term care insurance to them.
Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor Degree in Marketing Management from Western
Carolina University in North Carolina and a Masters Degree from Liberty
Baptist Seminary in Lynchburg, Virginia. He now lives in Nolensville,
Tennessee. He is married with four children.
